Featuring a bar, shared lounge and views of city, Quijano Hotel - Aparts & Suites is set in Montevideo, 1.8 km from Ramirez. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. Good, clean, well lit rooms where you feel very at home. We stayed for a few weeks so we got a chance to experience the good and the bad from the room, and it was an overwhelmingly good experience. The breakfast buffet is simple but filling and there's also a bar at the lobby, from which to order coffee and drinks later in the day. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It has extremely easy access to the major bus lines, taxi and Uber to move around the eastern side of the city, and is within walking distance of Plaza Independencia and la Ciudadela, as well as la Rambla. Above all, I loved the warm, personalized service the staff provided. This is not a large, branded hotel (it in fact felt more like a family operation), but its staff evidently take pride in the quality of their service. They were quick to offer information and assistance whenever we required it, but were very respectful and careful not to be intrusive.

The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. The location is great: it is very close to the Plaza Independencia and there are lots of good bars and cafes nearby. The hotel has a rooftop terrace and a gym.

Located 100 metres from Montevideo city centre and the metro station, Hotel Klee offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast. The main square is 200 metres away. The receptionist was incredible! She had a great sense of humor, was warm, attentive and gracious. The location of the hotel was good. The Plaza de Armas was a few blocks away. I stayed 1 night, and it was comfortable enough. Breakfast was good as well.
